Did you fill the tub with urine and drywall? That's starting to make sense now.

Wow that is a sexy place.

Me and my wife could live in that happily forever.

My last job, clients regularly had houses that were 10,000 square feet and up. There was a 60,000 square foot home that was going to be knocked down, along with the house next door, in order to make room for an even bigger house across both foundations.

That “unit” is more like a shack in comparison.

There are cool and nice and down to earth people who also happen to be wealthy. Most of my previous clients were not that kind of wealthy. They were several steps beyond the point of no return.

Yes, particularly for the 3-car garage for me.

I’ve appraised a few homes with such an amenity. A local car dealer has a large house outside of town, and built a separate wing for his parents. Two car attached garage and about 3,000 sf of living area. He finished it about 6 - 12 months before they died. Total ingrates. The son did have a really nice outbuilding with about 2 dozen classic cars, mostly Dodge & Mercedes, as that was what they sold for many years.

I wish i could find a house almost exactly like that (maybe a little more living space). Every house around here with a 3 car garage is 5000 sq ft and up. All I need is a 3 car garage, and 2000 sq ft.

Put that on the right modestly sized 8000 sq ft lot in west Bellevue and you’d probably get 1.5MM for it.

I like the brick/stone they have in the front.

1/2 of it for a little wood working shop, and the other half for the project car(s).

Same here. In our quest (which is admittedly just starting), I told the wifey I’ve love a three car garage. She’s on board, but like you mentioned, every house that has one is massive. We don’t need a massive house.

In my hometown, it's not uncommon for modest houses to have 2 attached as well as a 2 car detached garages. Granted this is in a semi rural area, 20-30 minutes outside of the larger cities where one would likely work.

Are you up north where you’d want to park every car you own indoors in the winter time? I’m in the south where the worst thing you have to do regularly is scrape frost in January.

Nah this would be in central North Carolina. I live in SC now though.

Really! I’m in the Triad of NC and it’s very rare here. But that would be a wonderful find. I’d love two attached and two detached. :D

Oh wow. I'm from High Point, actually outside of high point in Davidson Co. A lot of the homes on the road where my parents live have two car detached. Perhaps its not as common in other areas.
